No Dev Mode on A1-mini w. no AMS?

Greetings.

bg: X1C/2xAMS, A1-mini/AMS, A1-mini/no AMS. Orca. Updated everything to latest firmware before going offline.

Days of connectivity issues finally pushed me into LAN/Dev mode. Some initial issues with the X1C but worked through them and it’s reliable again.

Moving to the A1-minis; the one with the AMS lite switched to Dev mode with no problem, but the second machine, without AMS, won’t permit acknowledgement of the 3rd party software warning and thus will not enable Dev mode. Sending from Orca results in the machine issuing a MQTT warning and no print, however, the sent gcode is on the SD card and can be started manually.

How to enable Dev mode? Perhaps downgrading from 1.06 firmware?

Thankyou.

edit:

3 days later and no change. And no comments… I start thinking it’s user error.

I’m sitting in front of the printers and watching the X1C turn out a fly swatter; I’m running the A1-minis upgrade sequence though my memory, trying to capture any step differences between the 2 units… And it hits me.

The first mini, I read the 3 pages of 3rd party warnings before acknowledging and enabling Dev mode.

The second mini, I clicked through to the end, 'cuz that’s what normal people do when facing the same scenario.

So I tried again; this time slowly advancing to the end and, duh, I was permitted to acknowledge the warning and enter Dev mode.
