Can anyone explain what hes trying to tell us? Very confusing post is it about 3d printing?
You need a different phone. All of those photos are really poor for showing any kind of detail on the print.
If you can’t afford a different phone, ask a friend to take photos for you.
But we here cannot help you. Doesn’t matter what we say and all your effort here on the board does nothing.
You do need better photos though.
He’s saying the pic you used is alright, you have nothing to worry about.
Basically it says, that you can take a picture with your phone…makes no sense to me, but that’s what it says.
no i don’t need a better phone. that 1st picture is good enough and better than the rest. you concur?
yes it is… and its about what bambu does when ever you don’t have a 12 or 24 pixel camera phone…
there is no expectation of resolution… meaning its not clearly defined what the definition is for a “detailed” picture… also does the picture clarity have anything to do with how the print turned out? no it doesn’t. if someone can see what it is and can decide if its for them then i don’t see what the big deal is there champ.
You can make a good photo with a potato camera. All you need is a good bit of light and good bit of background. And megapixels don’t mean lot - 1st real canon DSLR was 4MP (if you have actual 12 pixel camera though… that’s bad: 3x4px image isn’t even icon sized ) the image uploaded even at high resolution to MW gets scaled down to something manageable anyway.
My recommendation would be to just do better photos with what you have. Red background and harsh lighting does no favour to this model.
just take your design, set it on a table next to a window and take a photo, the photo is all shaky and without any detail because it doesn’t have enough light, it’s nothing to do with what phone you own
Bambu is trying to tell you something. Not listening to them just wastes your time.
Those photos are terrible. Why are you unable to see that?
My old tablet camera has more resolution than MakerWorld allows. I have to take photos at more of a distance or zoomed out and then crop to fit MW’s maximum file size requirement.
Arguing your point to us won’t help you.
Why are all the photos different sizes? Are you editing them?
It almost looks like a digital zoom, reducing resolution.
Also make sure you phone camera lens is clean. You might just need to wipe it off.
Any phone from the last 10 years should be able to take better photos than what you are showing here. These are low resolution and fuzzy, with poor lighting. Clean your camera lens, and make sure the picture is in focus. Don’t resize the image after you take it. Don’t use zoom. Use natural soft lighting if at all possible.
There can be another reason that MW wants photos to have decent lighting and focus. Back when MW first put in the real model photo requirement, some designers intentionally blurred out and/or darkened their renders and then either claimed they had bad cameras or had bad photo taking skills.
In any case, great photos may take some skills, but decent photos can be done by anyone with any mobile phone camera.
You guys are wasting your time.
Tried to tell him in another thread, he just got mad and called me names.

Your first picture is fine, the other 2 are terrible, but it’s nothing to do with resolution. I have no idea what you’re asking though, if anything?
