I have had my A1 Mini since December last year.[2023] And registered it immediately after setting it up on my Handy App. And then last week when updating the OS I had to reregister it again. So why am I unable to participate on the A1 Forum? I know it is not because of something I might have said, but I have not said anything there yet. But I want to…

What privileges are you speaking about? You just posted on the A1 forum. You’re able to participate. Can you clarify your question?

I was posting a response to an already posted topic by others, but I could not start a New Topic. When I clicked on the New topic it put up a window that said I wasn’t a member, did not have privileges to post a new topic, and needed to create a log in. It seemed a bit incredulous to me as well. I thought one log in is valid for all the forums?

My guess is that you were still a “New User” when you tried to post the first time. You have since moved up to a “Basic User” which allows you to post new threads, pictures etc. Welcome to the forum.

Same here. I bought this mistake back in December and found the support group is horrible for an ongoing camera issue that suddenly disappeared, no response to an issue regarding the filament discount “club”, no history of my even buying a printer, and no ability to post my own question here about updates. I regret not returning this thing and buying elsewhere.

This just happened to me today. Been posting since Jan 2024 and today am not able to post any new topics in these forums - can only reply. No warnings on my account etc… No hand slaps etc… Just locked out for no reason it seems.

So, I’m still locked out, but it looks like there’s a way (although a pain in the arse). Top left, click Topics, select New Topic top right, then post there, but @BambuLab can someone look at this? Seems to be more than one of us locked out of posting directly within separate forums.

The window to change your username is only 3 days from when you register. To change it now you need to contact a forum moderator.

the “Bambu Lab A1 Series” main forum is blocked to everyone, but “Bambu Lab A1 Series>General Discussions” and the other subcategories should still.work. Probably just a housekeeping effort but it would be better if it said “please choose a category before posting” instead of just “you’re not allowed”. The discourse software is known to be a bit schoolmasterly if thats a word…, also with the name change
