When trying to “simplify” a model in the latest beta, nothing happens. No dialog is open, no error message… simply nothing.
I tried with different projects and computers and had the same result. Anyone experiencing the same? Is it a known bug?
Yes - and the solution to the problem in the comments - but use it at your own risk, I suppose.
If you’re participating in the beta programs, it’s a good idea to keep an eye on the bug tracker. 
Here’s a workaround: Use Blender - portable version, if necessary - you only need one feature, and I’ll show you it:
0.5 = 50% “simplification”
Export as stl
