Notifications stopped working

Hi all,

as a new User with a A1 a received notifications on my iPhone and Apple Watch. I was experimenting with my android Tablet and after that things changed.

I deinstalled the app on my tablet and de-/reinstalled it several times on my iPhone. I’m getting notifications but they don’t notify with sound / vibration. I see that there were notifications send but I haven’t seen them because my phone / watch haven’t notified my.

My Bambu Lab notifications don’t vibrate or produce any audible sound.

It is important to note that notifications (push or local) only produce sound or vibrations if the data payload includes those requests by the sending party.

If they do not request either, the user will not get them.

Not all apps request sound or vibration. This is often so they do not disturb the user which is a common read for users to disable notifications.

The options you see in settings allow you to stop choices set in the payload from occurring, but, do not force them to occur.

The audio made from a notification is either the default noise you set in the sound settings or the app must include its own sound file the notification will trigger upon receipt.

Here is my current configuration. However, I am not receiving push notifications with sound or vibration. I have verified the functionality of this option in the settings for other apps, and I have no issues there. The problem only occurs with the Bamboo Lab app, regardless of where the print job was started.

If you are receiving push notifications, that is normal.

If they lack sound or vibration, that is by design.

Sorry but that can’t be as designed because I received push notifications with sound before I installed the app on my android Tab.

I don’t think that the design changes and the new “feature” is that you don’t get sound on push notifications. …and (question to other users) if it is a feature an das designed no one should get sound on push notifications…

The Bambu Support team replied to my ticket. It’s a bug not a feature or as designed.

Just to add thoughts to this (came here because my notifications also stopped all-together):
I use the SD Card a lot because my life finds me condensed time to design and prep prints so I send them all to the printer so they’re ready to go without needing to open a laptop or send a file.

All I have to do is walk by the printer, change the plate, and pull the next files/design.

For example, today, I have four multi-hour prints lined up (on the SD card) named 1of4…4of4… so that as I’m moving about I can just pup and up swap plates. Won’t need to open the computer. They’re different print profiles, materials (to include TPU), etc.

Certainly open to learning better ways to do this. Cheers! :call_me_hand:

I have been having this issue since latest studio update or maybe firmware update as well. Any fix yet?
