Nozzle and Toolhead Cameras "not in place"

Sent a message to support, but thought I would seek assistance here to increase my chances of finding a fix.

I’ve had my first 3d printer, an H2D, for a couple weeks and have been printing without issue.

Yesterday morning after a successful print, I went to unload the filament and the machine declined.

Two error messages popped up about the Nozzle and Toolhead Cameras not being “in place”.

Did some basic troubleshooting like turning it off and on again and looking for obvious damage with no positive effect.

In fact, instead of a fix, if the machine is on for a couple minutes, more errors appear.

Best I could tell from the Wiki, it might be a loose cable or fried board.

I was hoping some people on this forum may know of a less involved fix or some better troubleshooting tips.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

I am afraid that this sounds like a support ticket is your best bet.
If you are lucky, it is “just” a board replacement. But Bambu should really do the log review and guide you through the troubleshooting gauntlet with parts sent by them. The printer is far to new to throw these kinds of errors.

That’s kind of what I feared.

Good luck!

You may want to link your forum post when opening your ticket. H2D issues should in any case be prioritized by Bambu atm, but it helps if they can look at discussions on what you have already tried.

I will remember that for next time. I already posted the ticket. This post was a draft for a couple of days while I figured out how to earn enough forum “Trust” to not be considered a spammer.

Still waiting for any kind of reply from support though.
