Nozzle Crashing

I have had the nozzle crash hard into the print bed (PLA bed) leaving an indentation 3 times now while starting and calibrating for a print. It does not happen on every print, so I am confused here. I clean and prep the bed for each print, so I can’t imagine that is an issue. Is it perhaps uneven application of the glue stick to the surface? What is making it misread the distance to the surface?

I’ve also noticed that sometimes at the beginning of a calibration the bed will run up and crash into the nozzle so hard it flexes the carbon rods and screeches. Can’t be good for the machine haha

Hi, Any solution to this? Just switched mine on for the first time and it crashed…

Same for me, getting down to the metal after only three prints

Mine is doing this exact same thing. Has anyone figured out a fix?
