Nozzle gets stuck in part

I’ve tried to print a gear a couple of times, and the nozzle seems to get stuck in the print each time at the same point.

I have the speed slowed down, wipe off, z-hop for the first gear was at default 0.4 though ‘normal’ mode not the default ‘sloped’, and for the second gear I upped it to 0.6. I have ‘reduced retraction on infill’ off. I’ve cleaned the bed more times than I’ve printed (had the machine a week), as I see lots of problems are put down to oil on the bed.

Maybe it’s just me but throughout the print I can hear a slight crackle, sounds like it’s the nozzle repeatedly hitting the work and after enough hits the bed adhesion has to give way.

Have you tried using non crossing infills like Gyroid?

Have you tried a full bed level calibration in the Settings>Maintenance>Calibration?

This calibration does more points on the bed than the standard bed leveling.

Thanks for your responses.

Reprinted fine with gyroid, giving it another go now though assume it’ll be fine. Anyone know why gyroid isn’t default?

That GitHub link is great thanks. Nice to have a solution to address this when it occurs in non-infill areas.

*Printer has been fully calibrated with bed leveling on each print.
