I appreciate there is open dialogue with BambuLab about the nozzle knocking against existing filament on a given level, when the nozzle tries to draw an intersecting line at the same level (grid infill is a big culprit), but could someone help me get around this for my piece. I’m trying to print something like this (I can’t print the piece on it’s side as it would require loads of support for majority of the part):
I’ve tried adding supports around and under the bit that gets knocked, but it just can’t withstand the blow even at low speed, arrow drawn on the slice where the nozzle hits the supporting piece and it breaks:
Bed is levelled and calibrated, and bed adhesion is very good, the supports around the broken piece remain firmly stuck to the bed.
