I have an A1 printer which has been working well, but now the nozzle won’t heat up past 0 degrees when trying to print a model; it heats up the nozzle to 250 C to load the PLA filament that I am using. What would cause this and how can I fix this? I clicked on the nozzle temperature, which took me into a controls screen and I selected the nozzle and entered 200 degrees C then returned to the print screen only yo fall back to 0 degrees C. I also did this from the Bambu Handy app with the same results. Any helpful suggestions are appreciated.
What happens if you manually set the temperature via the printer control panel and just leave it sitting for a bit? The printer will set the temp to 0 after a defined period of time, but it’s several minutes, if it’s happening quickly or irregularly, that suggests a hardware issue.
I’m thinking either you have bad firmware or a bad microSD card, but the idea of the above is just to rule out hardware first.
I’d try swapping in a different MicroSD card next, that’s an easy step.
