When doing a nozzle offset calibration filament oozes everywhere on the sensor and grate. Is this supposed to happen? I understand the nozzles need to be heated to perform this calibration but maybe purge the filament out of the nozzle before starting calibration.
You possibly need to dry your filament when it is oozing excessively.

I just dried the filament for 12 hours. It doesn’t seem to make a difference.
Can you show a picture of how it looks like?

Yeah. I’m also experiencing the same issue with my H2D and I don’t think it has anything to do with drying, as the issue happens even after drying the filaments. Is there any particular reason the printer is pre-heating the nozzles before doing the Nozzle Offset Calibration? I feel like the fix can be as simple as doing the Nozzle Offset Calibration first and then pre-heating the nozzles.
I think there are a lot of issues with the beginning g-code that should get worked out over time. But your thoughts are the same as mine and the only reason i can think why it does it while hot is because metal expands under heat. You can bypass this by just doing the High Precision nozzle offset calibration. I have the calibration shut off at the beginning of the print since i did the calibration and have not had an issue since.
Heating allows the expansion of the materials to be taken into account in order to calibrate the printer more finely. If you don’t want the thread to leak, remove it first…
