Nozzle overheating on 2 month old A1

My son has an issue with his near new A1. The temperature at the nozzle climbs to over 300 C as soon as he switches on the machine i.e. not printing. The QR code directs to the Wiki pages where the issue is not covered.
Is there an obvious reason/ solution or could it be more serious.
Thanks in advance.

John

Sounds like the temperature sensor is bad. Try another hot end.

He has one on order, thanks for your reply :+1:

As a thought, try removing and reinstalling the one you have. Long shot but might work.

Check if it is on maintenance mode.

We tried that, sadly no difference :frowning:

Made no difference sadly. Thanks for your input, much appreciated.

Cant find anything relating to Maintenance mode. How would I access this?

In the printer settings.

Tried factory reset but couldn’t complete because there was smoke coming from nozzle area.

Go into printer settings and click Maintenance.

Then check if “maintenance mode” is turned on.

Thank you, I will get him to have a look.

Bambu Labs has diagnosed the problem as a Main Board issue, they are sending out a new one, which we have to fit, wish us luck. Thanks to you guys for trying to help us, much appreciated :+1:
