The easiest way to get answers to “which is faster” questions like this is simply to load the model into bambu studio and slice it with the nozzle and filaments of your choice. It will tell you the time required and you can view the speed/flow directly.
If you are looking for pure speed, a HF will always win. The difference is to hit the max speed for a 0.4HF is that you will first need to do a volumetric flow rate test for your material and update the filament specs. Then to consistently maintain that throughout the print, you will likely need to run a 0.6 line width and 0.3 layer height or maybe a little more. For the 0.8, it does not increase the volumetric flow capability of the printer, but what it does do is make it easier to hit the volumetric flow limit. For instance if you need to print a 0.4 at a 0.3 layer height to hit the limit, you can print a 0.8 at a 0.15 layer height so you maintain detail while increasing speed. Just make sure you cut your wall count in half, otherwise you may see print time increase compared to 0.4!
