Nozzle scrapes build plate during bed level process

Hey does anybody know how to fix when the nozzle scrapes the bed while printing earlier i had a giant blob attached on the nozzle and when i removed it i noticed that when i printed something it seemed to make the layers really thin and would scrape the bed i use a a1 combo and would like assistance because this issue had me scratching my head for hours i had tried bed leveling calibration in the handy and still cant find out why it scrapes

Hello, I understand the scraping of the nozzle is normal behavior.

I’m curious about the following if anyone has any insights:

  1. Are there are any issues over time with the nozzle scraping this way in the same spot?
  2. If so, is it possible to adjust the location on the plate where the nozzle can scrape to continue operating as expected? The thought here is that you can make use of the entire area on the back of the scraping area over time.
    Thanks!

P1S. I have exactly the same marking on my textured PE plate. Has done it from day 1.

Yep, because it’s doing what it’s designed to do.
