I installed a 0.6mm nozzle and my print times are now greater than with a 0.4. I found that the printer profiles in Bambu Studio for the 0.6mm nozzle have the speed set to nearly half the speed of the 0.4mm nozzle.
Kinda defeats the purpose of having a larger nozzle. Has anyone tried printing at regular speeds with 0.6mm nozzle (200mm/s +)
I haven’t but there is a reason for that. The hot end can only melt so much plastic regardless of the nozzle size (volumetric flow) and that is already close to maxed out with the 0.4 nozzle. I believe the consensus with the 0.6 nozzle on this printer is that it is only really useful for filaments that might clog the 0.4 nozzle (e.g. CF or wood).
