Nozzle Temp Error

Anyone else having issues with Nozzle Temp abnormal after a filament change occurs? This printer has been a ton of trouble since almost the start. Chamber fan not working, Nozzle Temp errors, quality issues.

I have to turn off the printer and turn it back on to finish the print because after the error happens the nozzle temp reads 0 and doesn’t change. Wondering if anyone has found a solution since support is no help.

You could try unplug and re-connect temperature just in case. Will take just a few seconds.

Yeah, I tried the steps in the wiki but it wasn’t a permanent solution.

I have not had this problem but do you have another temp sensor you can try first ?

It could even be a board or usb-c cable problem but the temp sensor would be the first item to replace also it depends on how they are sending the temp sensor data back to the main board and what wires are being used in the usb-c cable if the sensor has it own two wires or they can be using a digital signal data bus line with other printer data back to the main board.

Next time it happens take a video with your phone and send that to support it might help get the ball rolling and get you some replacement parts :crossed_fingers:

Thanks for the reply 3DTech. I replaced the complete hotend, hopefully it was just the cable that was a problem. We will see.

I did take a video but I can’t submit a ticket without a log, I don’t have a microSD card I can use tonight. Not sure why a log is required for a ticket now.

any issues since you replaced the hotend? I;m having similar issues and wanted to see if it was the temp sensor or a motherboard

Hey KGB_Section31 I have not had any issues since replacing the hotend. I never got any help from Bambulabs on any of my issues. Luckily replacement parts are not too expensive.
