Nozzle temperature malfunction.[0300 8008]

Just had the same issue and came here to comment exactly this. The part cooling fan was cooling the nozzle where I had forgotten the sock.

We got several P1S. The wire from the thermistor is very thin. They are individually isolated with some very thin plastic like material.

I have solved a couple of problems by moving the wires a little away from sharp metal corners.

My guess is that the isolating material becomes soft and gets an unwanted electrical connection. Remember, that there is a drag in the thin wires from above, when the wires in placed in the holders for it.

So I have been struggling to find a solution to the nozzle temperature malfunction codes as I work on several A1s regularly. Even after buying a brand new a1 combo kit, I was getting this error but I did find one solution that seems to be working consistently. All I did was lower the fan speed and resume the print. Then it works fine for me. I don’t know if this will always solve everyone’s issues with this code but I figured I’d toss it out there in hopes it helps others

Thanks! That link you sent solved my issue! Dropping part cooling from 100 to 70% resolved, printing 0.6mm wide PLA on an X1C, kept failing on a part with high sustainedfilament throughput. Saved the print and a lot of money try to troubleshoot solve a haedware problem that didnt exist.

I know this is an older thread, but my X1E threw this code today when switching to PET-CF. I think what is happening is the printer is trying to melt more plastic than it has the power for. I could print super fast on PLA and ABS, which has a lower melt temp than the PET-CF. But the PET-CF has a print temp of around 280C. I was trying to run at 30mm^3/s. As soon as I turned the flow rate down to 15mm^3/s the problem went away and I got a good part. So if you’re seeing this, check and make sure you’re not trying to push the printer beyond what it can do, it takes power to melt the filament, we only have so much available, so you might need to slow it down to give it time to melt.

I also go this a few weeks ago when X1C was alternating between pla-cf and Petg. Support advised me to upgrade the 2 boards on the extruder / hot end. If you buy this then you get a free dual lidar from bambu as this board only works with this upgraded lidar.

I wonder if the new boards have a higher power limit, which is why it fixed the problem. Since I have the X1E I bought it from a retailer that supplies tech support, I spoke with them and they did tell me to slow it down because those hotends just can’t keep up. After I slowed it down it ran a 4 hour print without a single issue.

I had it pop up and after a bit of digging realized that I left the silicon sock off after I’d removed it to clear some jammed filament in it. As soon as I put it back on, I haven’t had any real problems.

I used the app on my phone to reduce the nozzle temp by about 5 deg c and make sure the boot is on the hot end, and there is ventilation to the back of the printer(the board gets hot back there), that has fixed the problem for me

Late summer 2026 calling! I got this exact error on layer 2 on my A2L three times in a row, and your comment was the solution: I forgot the sock! Each time it basically exited in the middle of a line of filament it was depositing and didn’t come back to finish it, but with luck it won’t be noticeable.

So I’m having the same problem with opposite reactions. On a single color print about 20% through it gives me the error. I can get it to stop by removing the faceplate and silicone sock, but it’s not supposed to print like that so I would like to know what to do.
