Nozzle wiping is damaging Cool Plate SuperTack

I recently got a A1 printer with the Cool SuperTack print plate by Bambulabs.

I noticed that during the startup procedure of a print the printer does the nozzle wiping like shown here from the course on the A1:

This is normally fine, but on the SuperTack plate its damaging the surface in that area after the first time. With each time its getting worse and taking of the surface.

How can I disable that nozzle wiping? Why does it not skip that on the SuperTack plate?

Anyone else experience this?

Hi,

This is “normal” that area will get worn away, same for your other plates too, although it looks less dramatic on the Texture PEI etc…

This area does exist just for that. There is no other reason for this part of the print plate.

Okay, fair enough, if its intended to do that!
