I would have refused to attempt this print if someone asked me in the shop as I described above. there was something wrong with the model itself to have multiple mid air gaps, honestly beyond my skill level to manually repair in a modeling software but I’m happy to hear the repair fixed whatever it was.
The slice with supports on “tree” normal or hybrid will get this printed then if fixed. yes it will be normal to have that many with this model as per your 1st post. I did as well I would consider that safe enough. the tower thing is if you have multi color ams if you do then yes in fact this will change things on that front.
I don’t know what nozzle you have either I was slicing with the standard 04. yes you are right on 02 it changes - i never use 02.
