I have quite a few projects where there may be multiple plates with very specific orientation and placement of parts.
The issue I am having is that quite often the parts will not be where I placed them upon opening the file to print the project again. This is repeatable too - I can redo the tedious task of repositioning the parts, SAVE, then reopen and they are right back to where I didn’t place them.
Just like the AMS filament selection issue I posted, failing to catch this has cost me a fair amount of time and filament and a lot of frustration.
I see that every single time I switch from Orca to Studio or vice versa, with multi plate projects. If you never use Orca, perhaps there’s simply a bug in Studio - and maybe that’s the cause of my problems too.
I know this is somewhat older but this problem still persists and is getting worse. With the H2d I swear all my parts change positions sometimes even from adding a new plate not just reopening the file. It is so annoying.
Also so tired of having to close the popup asking me to switch my slicer printer from h2d to x1c just because the “connected” printer (bambu slicer sucks at connection too) is not the right printer for the file. Totally ruins the entire print setup if I accidently click yes.
