I configure most of my prints to use “By Object” Print Sequence for the flexibility to skip that object if it fails. I’ve had to use this feature quite a few times in the past which saves me a lot of rework time and filament by avoiding having to scrap the whole print job. I use Bambu Studio 99% time for slicing and monitoring my print from my computer. I was surprised their wasn’t a “Skip button” under the device tab in the slicer and that I have to go grab my phone to use the “Bambu Handy” instead. It’d be great to see this feature be included in the device tab alongside the Stop/Cancel button in the slicer. (Bambu Studio v1.9.1.66)

I’d love to see object skipping added to the slicer. Every time I’ve needed it, that’s the first place I’ve looked, and it always throws me off when it’s missing.
A slight tangent for the OP: even when printing by layer, you can still skip objects part way through the print.
