Object too large for printbed. Can't split

For my Xmas lights (or party-lights) . I need some template to put them in so it can be on a wall. On Facebook someone posted the attached file. Nice, but it’s too big to fit on the buildplate of my P1S printer. Of course I could scale it, but then the holes for the lights are too small.

The option of splitting to objects/parts is greyed out, so not possible. Is someone able and willing to help me so that I can print it in parts (with connectors if possible).

do you mean cutting? Works for me on BS and Orca

Edit: ok you mean the other split, got it. That only works if you have 2 objects that were joint together. The Model you want to print is just a single piece. You’d need to use the “cut” function to split it up in 2 or more.
