Objects Question

Why do some prints only show one object and others show all objects? Is there a way to look at all objects when only one object shows on left side object menu?

Welcome to the forum.

If only one object is showing it’s because either the part was imported as a combined model or objects were grouped together and “meshed” into one.

You can however split them. Select the model and right click. Select “Split” in the menu and this will give you the option of either splitting into “Parts” or “Objects”. Splitting into parts will keep the separate parts combined into an “assembly/object” while splitting into objects will make each part it’s own object. Note that splitting to objects will automatically drop each piece to the build plate.

Thanks for the welcome and the reply. I have tried both those options but it only makes the same object. I guess once meshed it can’t be separated? I was just wanting to change the colors without having to use the paint option as there are to many areas to do.

If they are all on the same height you can try that paint option. I do that for a lot of raised texture or lettering so I dont have to do each one or I do the opposite and fill the rest of the model up with the alternate color then do minor in fill of color in between
