Odd striations on print

I was wondering if anyone knows what the cause of these striations on the front of this print may be caused by? (they also appear at the back)

There’s also a veeeery slight split in the layers all the way around just above you might notice in the photo

Thanks for any help
Nick

Layer height? Looks like it’s less than .2mm. Is the same pattern on other prints at larger layer heights?

A bit more info about your settings and material would be great.
I guess you are using PLA, right?
This usually happens when your layer time is to short, causing the next layer being printed on the previous layer before it has fully solidified. Going a bit slower should fix your issue.

The shiny line on the upper region of your part are likely also related to layer time.
I suspect you have a pocket with a flat floor in your part, causing the printer to spend more time printing the infill while the outer wall is solidifying.
You should be able to get a hint of what’s going on by selecting the speed display mode in your preview tab in Bambu Studio.

Due to litte detail provided, these are just suspicions. I would love to get more info on your model and settings. I could also offer to have a look at your 3mf file if that is something you feel comfortable sharing.

Looks like it could be under extruding or your wall thickness is to thin. It could very well be layer height as well. Is it only this print? Maybe try printing one of the stock models and check to make sure everything is good with them.
