I have Bambu Studio 2.0.1.50. However, when I open an STL file and it attempts to open Bambu Studio 1.10 and then starts telling me I need to upgrade to 2.0.1.50 etc. Why does it do this? I don’t even see version 1.10 on my computer. Is there a way to make STL files open in the latest version of Bambu Studio?
In Windows, I would re-install Studio 2.0.1.50 in hopes of correcting registry entries, and then verify that these boxes are checked in Studio Preferences:
I have a mac and I’ve checked, there’s only one version of Bambu installed and I checked and it’s set to open STL in Bambu Studio - where there is only one of them. That’s why I’m puzzled…
If 1.10 opens, then it still exists somewhere on your computer. Check the location when you launch it (right click in the dock and show in Finder).

Thank you!!! These things were hiding in subfolders in Applications so that’s why I never “saw” them. 3 deletes of older versions and peace has been restored!!!
