One of my models was taking down

i felt like someone was going to turn one it because they are jealous or what even reason. i had a FNAF puppet mask and someone said it wasn’t mine. well it is mine. i prefer to make all my stuff, why because most model can not be sold so i find it easier to make my own so i can do as a please. so in the long run i might make something someone else already made sure it going to happen. simple mask! i go to a lot of events locally and only take things i made. i model and i printed.

they don’t even look the same.

the image of his model

mine

my model all the parts are more pronouns and detailed. the cheek circle ,the chin and mustache. bigger chin area, bigger forehead and little wider. they don’t match at all visually

Mine is easier to paint because of those things, done on purpose thinking ahead about painting it.

sorry dude your not the only one that can make stuff,

yes i already started the appeal.

something else i just notice he has ridges over the eyes mine doesn’t.

main reason i am posting this is because you can only have 300 characters in an appeal. wow not much room there.

Yes, those are different. Not sure why they confirmed the report in the first place. Perhaps instead of taking down models that aren’t actually violating anything, you could start moderating profiles, reviews, and actually stolen models. :exploding_head:

Definitely not the same model.

There are lots of people making a lot of the same things. As long as it was made from scratch and you can prove it, there is no infringement.

I got banned for no reason aswelll

I might be able to explain some of the problems here…

Whenever there is a report, no mater how low level it means Bambu has to get someone to check.
Thing is that this does mean said someone is qualified for the task at hand.
The same thing happens in other places, which is why all this here sounds only too familiar…

Bambu needs to get going fast as they keep falling behind with their growing customer/user base.
It is far easier to take a post for a new topic down (happens to me) or a model then to actually check if there is reason to be concerned.
Like in my case the Bambu staff clearly could not be bothered to read the post and decided based on certain keywords to mark it as private - which is great because I can access any private posts, not even my own ROFL
Anyway…

It won’t be long and Bambu will/has to switch to automation.
The volume of ongoing reports and the longer and longer delays to step in, plus then making the wrong decision will sooner or later start to offend the user base.
I think what we currently see is already the transitioning phase to automate the reporting system.
If done like in so many other places:
Reported posts, models or such are removed/made invisible to the public by default.
A mod or other support stuff find the alert and if they have the time might check it.
This can take 3 to 10 days in other places, so if in doubt be a bit patient even if it hurts.
Depending on the outcome the post or such will be fully removed or all restrictions removed if found there is nothing to worry about.
The think that Bambu somehow overlooked is that the (possibly) offending user is supposed to get a notification, PM or Email about the status and reason for the takedown.
That should also include the option or a link to make a statement to clarify things if the user thinks it is required.
It seems that Bambu currently either has not enough staff or too many issues properly implementing things.
Too bad they won’t bother to let us know…

All this becomes quite concerning once users get banned despite having done nothing wrong.
Did not happen to me for my posts (yet) but there is plenty of posts on Reddit and in other places where Bambu users have a rant for being banned and being unable to get to terms with the Bambu support.
Resulting in those users just creating new accounts and many of them then use these accounts to make life a misery for other users or makers - like by constantly reporting models from someone they thing did them wrong somehow…
All this nonsense could have been prevented if Bambu would have listened to their users since day one and acted on their concerns…
I really hope they do get on top of things before things run fully out of control in some vital areas.

By that logic, we could say he stole the original idea, too.

File was reinstated and points. thank you MakerWorld.

i could understand if they look closely alike, but they don’t.
It has been restored and points too.

not sure why its linking my reply to another reply.

I guess that confirms they take reported models down by default or even bot action.
Probably to ensure that if the content is really an issue it won’t be one for long.
And seeing all comes back including points and such seems to confirm they do check the reported posts and do the right thing.
Didn’t even take as long as in some places…

Well done Bambu, I see there is hope for us…
