Took a family trip to the local Comicon and ran into this guy. Spoke with his entourage and found the was completely 3D printed. The finish was great and when moving around it was flawless.
Though someone may enjoy this.

Pretty cool, thanks for sharing. They did this with the ToyBox 3D printer? ![]()
lol, They praised Elegoo mostly. Neptune’s and an Orange Storm Giga ninja warrior.
Good for them, but I’d never try something like that with Elegoo. She did say they had Bambu’s but cared not to elaborate. I politely asked if I could ask some questions and they answered, but seemed put out by it. Only people I met that came off that way but I don’t think it was intentional. They were proud and should be.
One comic book store owner was happy to talk about the printed helmets he was selling. His sister actually maintained slicing he took them off the printers. Her helmets were great, nice finish and no imperfections. Great guy. Other sellers of helmets were great to talk to but not so much on quality. I learned plenty and appreciated all of them.
I got to speak to the 501st unit that was there, got pics. One seller had one of the few Black Series I didn’t have for less than it was worth and knew it.
All in all my family enjoyed it and will go back. I have high anxiety with crowds but felt fine throughout the 3 hours. People were generally nice and willing to talk anything about comic books and collectables, anime or 3D printing. If you have the chance hit one up.
2 of them.
