One simple question!

I own the P1P and AMS, great printer but the AMS has feeding problems a lot.

Is the AMS light more reliable and less prone to feeding problems and errors?

Because I’m thinking of buying the A1 combo

Thanks

I had no issues with the AMS Lite when using it as intended.
Your problems with the P1+AMS sound like your filament path is either too long or has some stress points, like tight bends or kinks.

I had no AMS Lite feeding issues so far, only heard of issues using the filament tangle detection.

The new system does not pull the filament all the way back, only a couple of centimeters.

ams lite seems much better less friction and other hardware in the way im hoping they evolve from it or redesign the flawed AMS

Other than a slight learning curve (the slicer shows the reels of filament differently than the AMS Light holds them) I have had no issues with the AMS Lite. I have had the printer for a couple days now and am LOVING it and the AMS Lite.
