"Only one wall on top surfaces" should be part/modifier configurable

Currently the “Only one wall on top surfaces” option is only configurable globally or per-object. It cannot be applied to only one area of a single connected object by using modifiers or by splitting the object into parts. The option just isn’t present under “Quality > Advanced” at all for parts or modifier.

In my case I’d like to enable this option for most of the object for the usual nice surface finish reasons, except for either the entire or sections of the outermost ring of the part where the multiple walls on the top layer help to successfully print a tricky overhang wall and connected bridging (the circled areas in this screenshot).

And for what it’s worth, it definitely makes a significant difference in this case. This curved overhang just does not print correctly since the curve occurs over a 100% overhang, and then the neighboring bridging doesn’t connect to it when it’s printed later. Keeping multiple walls just in this area is, I’m guessing, giving the latter walls a bit of structure to start with.

The top print here is with the setting enabled, and the bottom is with it disabled. And before someone comments; yes the top one was also slightly underextruded, I’d forgotten to select my flow cal. This is grey Bambu PETG-HF.
