Are there any methods by which H-series Bambu printers can be operated using split phase US 240v power? An upgrade kit for this would be the ideal solution. Thanks in advance.
… why? Our split phase is 2x 120v. Just plug it in to the 120v leg.
Unfortunately there is no official path for doing this - I pursued it for my H2C and gave up. Requires a new power supply, new AP board (if I recall correctly) and not sure what else. Bambu wasn’t too keen on supporting it when I asked, but maybe if you tell them you’ve moved to a place with only 220 power and you can’t run your printer any other way they would help.
Spread the load over L1 and L2, if possible.
Are you having issues that would require this? A split phase system is designed to handle asymmetric loads just fine.
