"optimized model, improved print efficiency" profile publishing

Is anybody else seeing a trend of having other users publish an “optimized” print profile to some of your more popular models with doing nothing more than opening your model, reducing the face count to the lowes possible setting, and selecting the standard .2mm print profile to show reduced print times?

It is getting really annoying, and seems to come in waves. Every single one is called exactly the same thing and does the same BS “model optimization”, never uploads actual test print images with nothign but BS AI look-alike models. I’ve been successful at having most removed but it’s getting annoying having to deal with.

I am assuming that the published profiles from other users would still generate points and this is nothign more than a sh*t attempt at farming points but on the backs of users that actually spend the time test printing and loading profiles… if that’s the case, it feels like you shouldn’t have the ability to earn points on other peoples models, or at least give the original maker the chance to review the suggested profiles, or at miminum give me the ability to drop a comment or something calling out the obvious flaws.

Unforunately, that is society today. People want something for no, or minimum effort. I have had people “remix” some of my models and leave a comment talking s**t about mine and promoting theirs. Their ‘remix’ was similar to what you mentioned.

Report them as unwelcome and Bambu should remove them.

I hate these.

About a month ago. I had someone put an “optimized” profile up for my tool hanger.

They reduced it from 4 walls to 2 and dropped the infill to 5 percent. Ruining the functionality.

The worst part is when people start rating them and giving them low stars.
