Orca AMS Slot Selection Error

Switched to Orca because BS was dropping my custom filament profiles. Turns out the issue is the AMS having just enough of a mind of its own to not listen to anything I calibrate it for. Nonetheless, Orca at least resolves the issue with my manually calibrated profiles.

However, I get the AMS slot designating error after hitting “print plate”, with no buttons or further links to explain what the actual heck the problem is at all. AMS is set for PLA+, slicer is set for PLA+ with custom profiles. If somebody could help me get this back on the road I would appreciate it greatly. Here are some screenshots of the point of issue.

SOLVED: I set AMS to “Generic PLA” and reset my Orca filament profiles as “PLA”. It is not possible to use the default eSun categories which were properly set previously. I am guessing because Orca doesn’t have an “eSun” manufacturer option in the filament profile, though the AMS has a option for “eSun PLA+”.

If the AMS didn’t have the brain of a carp and the personality of a two headed snake this wouldn’t be an issue at all. Make calibrated filaments persistent in the AMS, Bambu.
