I think they’ve made their bed already. They definitely want Orca out of the picture, under the guise of caring for our printers “security”. … what a bad joke, given that their main reason for justifying imposing this c.r.a.p. on us it’s their own failure to detect and manage their own cloud security problems. And the argument that demonstrates their hypocrisy on this is the fact they also affect the LAN only print mode, as it may still, somehow, be connected to a public network and this opens us, the users, to hackers attacks… really Bambu? how stupid do you think we are? Who the heck is connected through an unsecured public network to print? You want security, then take down your damn cloud (it serves really no useful purpose other than to control users) and leave just the LAN only active. I don’t want or need to have my files going through your cloud (in China, or where the hell it might be) to be able to print them. All I need is for my printer to connect to my LAN. In this respect, you Bambu, are the major (i dare say critical) security risk for all of us, not the other way around.
