Outer wall defects

Does anyone have an idea what could cause such print problems?

same material as always, with wich i had no problems (its dry :)) and all of the sudden cant get a good print of part i`v preinted in houndreds

I have this problem on 0,4 and 0,6 nozzle, replaced extruder gears, lowered max volumetric speed.

Any ideas?

Thank you in advance!

if you recently just updated printer/bambu studio, there’s a bug with Arachne Generator that causes blobs due to incorrect wall order. There is a hotfix for it on GitHub but it forces classic instead of Arachne.

Hi,

Thanks for the hint but it`s not that unfortuntlky, i use classic wall generator.
Also this problem started before latest updates.

What filament are you using?

Colorfill PLA, but it’s not filament related issue, if a switch a spool from X1C to p1p prints great, same in opposite direction good print on p1p bad on x1c

Did anything happen tothe printer or have you made any changes just before it started?

No changes and no unusual events with printer

Hi Sadin,

By observation, it seems to be an extrusion problem that is not coherent with your description.
I would advise opening a trouble ticket ASAP, and while waiting for a response, it would be helpful if you could record a typical calibration print and share it with forum members.
Identifying the issue will be easier, and the video may be valuable for the BL technical support team.

When the printer is purging the filament at the start of the print, does it look normal? It looks like inconsistent extrusion to me. Possible causes:

  • clogged nozzle. Try doing a cold pull or swapping the hot end. I’d try swapping the hot end (preferably the whole assembly) first.
  • stripped extruder gears. Disassemble the extruder and check the gears. Not likely unless you’ve been printing abrasive filaments like PAHT-CF, but I guess it is possible.

Are you seeing this on surfaces other than the outer wall? If so, then I’d look at print speed and temperature. If it’s only on the outer wall, which is printed at the highest speed, then my best guess is a partial nozzle clog, especially if it prints fine with the same settings and filament on the P1P.

SOLVED!
Cold pull helped, there must have been some debris interrupting propper flow.

Thank you all for advices!
