Hello all. So, I’ve been printing for about 3 years now. I just only recently started printing with TPU. Specially Overture TPU. The past month I’ve been successfully printing Overture High Speed filament, and wanted to switch colors. The color I wanted was not available in High Speed, so I got the regular Overture filament. I thought they would print the same, but apparently they are totally different beasts. I couldn’t use my High Speed TPU profile, so I had to adjust it for the regular filament. After about 3 days of painstaking testing, I finally got reasonably good results, but it still isn’t tuned perfectly. Now I’m getting lots of stringing and the calibration step looks weird.
If anyone has any suggestions, it would be much appreciated!
It is also depending on the color. I print a lot with overture TPU. Black, red orange and others are fine, but purple is a beast. I also get a lot of stringing using purple, where the other colors nearly have none.( All printet from a sunlu)
I see. I didn’t realize printing with a different color even though its the same brand amd type of filament can produce different results. I to print from a direct drive Sunlu 2 heated dryer box. Have you ever used the color purple?
Sorry, my bad. I meant purple (exidently used the german word) I‘ll also fix it in the text above.
