P1P AMS Mode

Hi all, since I connected my X1C to BS with my P1P using the cloud networking, I have a new issue. I have removed the AMS from my P1P and connected it to my X1C as a second unit. The X1C works fine with the two AMS units and I get great slow multi colour prints. The issue now with my P1P is I have no cables connected for the AMS at all, I use the boden tube directly from the tool head to a spool on the side of the machine. The P1P shows in the software that the AMS is not connected correctly, however when I try to change the filament type on the device menu for the side spool a messages pops up PETG is not compatible with the PLA. When I am in the Prepare setup area I can change the filament to what ever filament I like with a colour, On saving my setting it will show the filament type I saved but will default back to the last AMS colour I used with the X1C. What can I change in my settings to make the software not see an AMS when I am working with my P1P with the AMS disconnected?
