P1P disappears from Bambu Studio after adding to Farm Manager

Hi everyone,

I’ve recently started using the new Bambu Farm Manager suite
and wanted to share my experience while asking for some
clarification.

I’ve installed both the Farm Manager Server and Client, and
began migrating my printers. So far, I’ve successfully added
my A1 and A1 mini to the Farm. Both are working well — they
appear in the Print Farm and remain accessible in Bambu
Studio (LAN mode).

However, when I added my P1P to the Farm Manager, it no longer
shows up in Bambu Studio. It does appear in the Print Farm
interface and functions there, but disappears from Studio
entirely.

Is this intended behavior or possibly a bug?
If it’s intentional, I personally think it’s quite limiting.
Being able to use both Print Farm and Bambu Studio
simultaneously is important for maintaining workflow
flexibility — especially with multiple printers in use.

Has anyone else encountered this? Any official guidance or
workarounds would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I was in the same situation, the A1/A1m printers worked correctly from both Bambu Studio and Farm Manager, but P1 disappeared from Studio even though it was still working in Farm Manager, so I thought that it was an issue with discoverability and just entered the printer IP and access code manually, but nothing happened. Then I upgraded the Bambu Studio to the latest beta and tried it again, and the P1 got addedd to Studio successfully.

Oh wow. I know I am running a beta but can’t recall the version. I am away from my home so can’t tell. Can you please tell me your beta version ? Thanks

It’s the latest one, 2.02.0.60.

Actually, it doesn’t seem like a permanent solution, since after restarting Bambu Studio the P1 is missing again, but I discovered that I can use “Send to BFMC” instead, which is in some ways better.

I know this is an old topic, but this struck me as interesting because I just posted a new topic today in the Farm Manager section asking a few questions for a future implementation of H2D Pro machines (6 total - with dozens of people accessing them).

I have a test printer connected right now (an A1 Mini), and the fact that I can’t connect/sync Bambu Studio to the printer seems like a big disconnect.

I would like the ability to access all printers in BS to populate the material configuration in the AMS, but this doesn’t appear to be possible.

I’m using BS “offline” - not logged into a Bambu Cloud account, and the printers CAN’T be in LAN-only mode when they are first connected to the farm server, so I don’t know how to add them to BS after they are attached to the farm.

Any thoughts?
