P1P part cooling spins up and down in advance

Hello!

While I was trying to fix some overhang issues with my P1P I noticed that the part cooling fan responds to changing the speed a little bit before it reaches the corresponding GCODE instruction. I searched but didn’t find any information about this. Is this expected behavior? If so, how’s that firmware feature called and is there any way to influence the point in time when the fan starts to change the speed?

Answering my own question:

I wrote to support and they confirmed, that this is by design.
