I’ve been having huge problems printing for about two months now, I can’t get anything to print, oddly yesterday for the first time in ages I managed to print something before having to swap the filament mid print, this has now continuosly failed.
This filament has worked seamlessly before, I’ve tried all the bed cleaning techniques, tried lowering temps, nozzle replacement, tried resetting to factory settings. The thing gets past the test strip and then tries to start printing and nothing adheres and carries on and it gets junked up.
I’ve used the Orca Slicer. I’m at my whits end with it as I have to manually cleaning the thing every fail. It worked seamlessly for 2 months and then after one print it’s been appalling.
Last hope is here otherwise I’ll have to contact their tech support.
There is one bed cleaning technique: anti-grease dish soap (dawn or farrie) and warm water and a sponge or very light scrub pad. Keep greasy paws off of the plate. Final dry it with a microfiber.
What plate are you using? Is the printer set to that same plate (I suppose the P1P auto senses the plate but am unsure). What temp is the bed set for?
Include some more detail and people will be able to better help.

The temperature of the bed was about 60 from memory, as mentioned it’s been printing for a couple of months perfectly from new, using different filaments as well.
I’ve tried lowering the temp on the filament, I’ve ordered an expensive filament which should come tomorrow and I’ll give that a go.

I’m having a tough time trying to visualize this. What do you mean “Junked up”. Can you share some photos of the failure mode?
Based on your description, this is not a slicer issue but without seeing a photo of the failure, one can only guess as to what you’re experiencing.
If you believe you’re experiencing adhesions issues-based purely on your effort to clean the plate-then the thing you want to verify is that you are laying down a clean first layer.

Here’s a simple process that should take about 35 minutes and if you aren’t getting perfectly flat, smooth and consistent adhesion, it will be very obvious.
Hit CTRL-N to start off with a completely new project with all defaults. Select the filament profile you’ve been using.
Right-click and select cube primitive from the menu.
What this will do is extrude a single layer of filament over the bulk of the build plate. If you notice any defects, then post the photos here and any one of use from the community will likely be able to make suggestions as to what the remedy is or if further diagnostics are needed. However, start at a first layer test to make sure you aren’t experiencing other issues.
