Hello,
Seems that after the latest firmware update, P1P adds Dynamic Extrusion Flow Calibration, great! It needs a new slicer version to support it.
Well, after some digging, it seems that the variable Bambu used to set the “K” value for calibration isn’t initialized properly out of box. Sometimes it will be set to 0 which allows normal prints, other times it will be some wild value like 18935789137858931589.000. Obviously using a value like that would result in failed prints, and it does.
So the fix - after upgrading P1P to latest firmware, if you have failed prints, check the Device tab of slicer (updated version!) and you should see “K” values in the AMS section - if any are off, set to 0.020 (or the PA value you know works) and go from there. should correct the issue.
Bambu - I filed a ticket against this already and sent a message to SirWill on Discord about it. Hopefully we can get a hotfix firmware soon against this build that will properly initialize “K” values after upgrade.
Thank you
