I am trying my first multicolor print in a part that I’ve created in Fusion 360 myself. Just a rectangle with an extruded name. I wanted for the tag to be green and the name other color.
It starts fine but, towards the final layers, the last letters are almost all green when they should not be according to the slicer setup (see attached)
Sorry but something doesn’t add up here with your photos from the slicer vs. the actual part you show. Slicer pictures show the letters flush whereas your photo shows it with the letters embossed?
You have a keen eye. The actual print that I show is from a previous attempt where the extruding was bigger. For the one shown in the slice, despite being more modest, the emboss still exists and the same behavior was observed.
If the letters are solid blue, above a green background - then there should be very few color changes, and no chance for green to remain at the top of the letter.
It looks more like you have a green and blue shape, or just blue on the top layer.
Even though setting the flush multiplier mainly solved the case, I will definitely check this setting later today. I was unaware of it. Thank you very much!
