P1S Bambu Studio Slicer question

It seems I remember reading that the white outline and 3D perspective appearance that parts have in Bambu Studio Slicer can be turned off. I have a hard time lining up a negative part with those two features.

So, can they be turned off? Thanks

I think l you are stuck with the white outline, that tells you which object is selected.

Get rid of the perspective view with View> Use Orthogonal View.

I keep the 3D Navigator cube activated. To line things up, I click in the center of one cube side to look straight along an axis, move the parts in two dimensions as needed, then pick another side of the cube to align the third dimension.

If I need real precision, I make my changes in CAD, or use the Move tool with numerical inputs instead of using the mouse and eye-crometer.

Thanks!

View> View / Use Orthogonal View fixed the issue.

The white outline was a newbie question. I knew was only active when a part was selected but could see where turning it off would help me to prevent overlaying parts.
