P1S Beta Firmware?

I can’t seem to get the beta firmware to get advertised to me. Why is it so difficult? You’d think they want as much feedback as possible. It’s been around 2 weeks so far.

It’s simply that not everyone is selected for the beta pool and those selected are not supposed to talk about it. The rest of us have to wait till the beta is opened up to the general population. It’s a waiting game but at least we can print lots of cool stuff to pass the time.

imagine feeling entitled to get invited as a beta firmware tester :joy:

Also reading helps

I Like being a BETA-Hero.

Thanks for the helpful comments, piss off on the others. I think my misunderstanding would have been nonexistent, if they called it a “closed beta”. I’ve lived software development for 20+ years, I know the difference between open and closed betas. I just assumed it was an open beta, and I shouldn’t have.

The Rules are a little Bit unclear for me

I applied with the web Form and was Not accepted…

Then i took Part via Handy App Beta Programm…nothing happend

One day i got the Beta to my printer without warning…

I do Not have Access to the Beta Forum and cannot give any Feedback…so i am Just Printing with IT

:person_shrugging:

I signed up via the app and within a day or two I was offered the beta firmware. I just don’t have access to the forum yet, so I just filled out the form and now I wait.

I have no time to be a Beta-Tester. The printers need to print.

What i realised.

I do prints every day. Do you do the same?

It’s random select. If you opt in you may get into the public test. I opted in two weeks ago and got in 4 days ago.

New Beta Firmware for P1 run´s

I would also like to participate in the beta firmware testing phase

Then sign up for it. Also the current beta phase is over, firmware got released today

Probably not globally. I don´t see the update.

Restart your printer

Lol. That did it. Thanks!

The noise cancellation is definitely a cool feature. On fast acceleration movements, I do still have a good bit of noise, and it goes away completely when set to silent. Overall, very happy with the change.

I like that they added an accessory tab on the printer’s menu to enter in the BBL mods so I don’t get the “Hardened nozzle recommended” confirmation message or the “this is not a P1S” confirmation error.
