I have a gridfinity base plate that I print every so often, has never changed, just started “paused by user” for some stupid reason. On the Preview tab, there is no pause on the vertical slider, I tried to re-slice. Still pauses at the last layer.
Any ideas?
Right when it is finishing?
Like, when it is triggering the filament or machine end gcode?
I had that on my Qidi. Those gcodes were sparse so I used some X1 code to get rid of blobs. Some of the commands could not be interpreted by the printer, so it just paused.
The same can of course happen if theres a surplus or incomplete M400 in those codes.
It’s been consistently pausing with about 1min left. Says it was paused by user. Grr…
I’ll reboot and report back.

Is it before it does the final layer or just when it has finished it and just needs to clear the nozzle and lower the bed?
If the latter, it could be quite likely that there’s something in the filament or machine end gcode it can’t process (anymore).
So far, a reboot has kept this from happening again…
