P1S LAN Mode MicroSD card failure

I have been able to use my P1S without issue for quite some time now, but today I have run into and issue after updating firmware to the latest available.

I ca no longer get it to print in LAN only mode. BambuStudio sees my printer ( kind of ), but when I try to send a print it says

“A microsd card needs to be inserted before printing via LAN”

But there is a properly formatted card in the machine. I can take out the card and put a file on it and print it manually but that is supremely annoying based on how I have things physically setup. Am I missing something? Has anyone else seen something like this?

Please any help would be appreciated.

  • As for the device being found on the network. I see the printer name in the devices section. I see the filament available in my ams but the message 'Failed to connect to the printer" is also visible at the same time. I am not sure what has changed with the last few updates to firmware and software but it seems quite bad if this level of issue has appeared ( or maybe it’s just some epic user error on my part, but I have changed literally nothing else ecept to run the updates )

There was some quite similar requests a while ago.
SD card works fine for printing things from directly but printer would not accept print jobs coming from Studio/Handy.
One user seemed to have fixed it by using a less vintage phone.
Another fixed it somehow but without a clue after he changed settings on the router.

I am assuming you updated to the 1.0.7 firmware.
I use the same and had no problems at all with the update, other than my profiles in Studio turned useless.
Bambu change the security requirements and how printer and app communicate.
I am almost certain that something is vital fails to make through to your printer.
Before trying more serious measures >
Set the printer up in cloud mode using Handy and then log into your account with Studio to see if you get full control of the printer.
In case that works sync what needs syncing from the cloud and switch back to LAN only.
Reboot printer and computer.
