A few days ago everything was normal with my P1S’s light toggle. I could turn it on/off in the mobile app, on the screen, and on my PandaTouch. Yesterday, the light toggle “changed” and turns on my AUX fan now.
I’ve updated the firmware, restarted the unit, powered it off to let the power drain, and attempted to reinstall the latest firmware. None of this has worked, the command to toggle the light on/off still turns my AUX fan on at 100%.
Has anyone encountered this before?
Remove the PandaTouch and then see how the lights/fan work or not.
A bunch of the trouble open source/closed source anger with Bambu Lab a month or so back is due to aftermarket electronics that may not keep pace with Bambu Labs firmware tweaks. BTT is a competitor to Bambu Lab, but not a partner with Bambu Lab.
So the Panda Touch firmware that worked with Bambu Lab firmware last week may become outdated quickly . Not saying that is absolutely the problem but it could be.
I turned the PandaTouch off and went through the same troubleshooting steps with it still off. No luck, it’s still enabling the AUX fan when the light toggles.
The AP board failed. Replaced it and the light is functioning like normal again.
