I know with this question i’m not the first and surely not the last, but is it normal for my P1S to be developing random sounds? The Y axis rod squeaks in the lower 3rd and it sounds like something is almost shaking somewhere in the printer when its moving at high speeds- I dont know if I should get a replacement to be safe as I have only had mine for 5 days now… If anyone could enlighten me that this is normal or not, and if their solutions or things like grease I should buy that would be appreciated 
Also if anyone would like an audio recording of the sounds I can provide that if needed 
5 days old you say → get it replaced
there is significant vibration when moving at high speeds but there shouldn’t be any squeaking when an axis moves
Put up a video so we can hear the noise.

Here you go its on the lower 3rd of the rod on the right, videos just say to move the belt but it just goes right back-
Oh also the rattling noise I can’t really replicate, i’ll just be trying to fall asleep and instead of motor whirring I hear this higher pitched sound- was not there when I bought it…
The noise in the video is not a normal sound. You should make a ticket with support in my opinion.

Okay I can get on that, if they take their time to respond will it be too late to possibly get a refund If i wanted to get another?
just moving the belt won’t resolve it since the belt is tracking to one side thus it will require adjustments of the angle on the tensioner to get it to track to a more centered position.
Your call if you want to do that adjustment on a new machine but IMO this should not happen in such a short time with a new machine.

I mean by no means should it but if i can fix it and that would honestly be fine, it will happen down the road so i might as well if its now yea? How exactly do i adjust the angle? I know you can loosen it and push it down the gear if that’s what you mean, but it still does it slightly… Might be doing it wrong though-
