Hi all
I have a strange problem on my P1S. When I print things such as coasters from standard PLA using the AMS and printing face down, if I print more than one on the bed, they always fail with holes in the print or bad quality.
If I print one coaster at a time, anywhere on the bed they generally tend to print OK, but this slows down my print process.
Any ideas, why filling the bed or printing 2 coasters sees a high failure rate?
I’ve tried bed levelling, cleaning the PEI plate etc.
On top of washing the plate with soap and water, I would also consider rerunning the auto calibration as it looks like your nozzle is a little too far away from the build plate.
Hi, thanks for your responses.
I cleaned the plate again in hot soapy water, allowed to dry and then cleaned with IPA and holding by the edges, placed back into printer. It still wont print more than 1 item without defects.
Is the auto calibration the same as the bed levelling?
