P1S print settings for bridges with ELEGOO PLA Basic

Hello so I’m trying to print this model below with the desired orientation with respect to the print plate

facing upward

facing downward

The issue I’m having is the when I make prints with side facing down, the holes don’t print nice and I struggle to get a screw inside the holes. For examples I tried to print another model and it came out like this

As you can see the hole since it had no support came out pretty bad and it’s impossible to get a screw in. I’m currently using ELEGOO PLA basic. Thank you for any advices

EDIT: Here is the file

ring.3mf (122.5 KB)

Post your 3mf file, the two images you posted aren’t really helping me understand what’s happening.

Is there a reason why you want the gear side facing down?

I posted it, I’m thinking of printing the circle side face the plate since that seems to make more sense.

Yes, it’s always better to print parts in a way that avoids overhangs and challenging geometry if possible.
