Will there be a touch screen upgrade from Bambu Lab for the P1S/P1P (not from third party sources), is it a possibility or unlikely?

It’s very unlikely that Bambu Lab will make P2S changes available for older, outdated models. Because then what would be the point of having the P2S.

Highly unlikely since the security updated. The Panda Touch has degraded functionality right now.

I think Bambu Lab’s actions speak louder than anything their PR department can say. If they thought you needed it, you’d have it. To paraphrase a certain late Cell Phone architect “Not an issue, just don’t use it that way”.

So to simplify this, there are three answers as to whether or not Bambu will offer an upgrade directly after closing off their walled garden to 3rd party devs. Those are in the following order:

  1. No!
  2. Hell No!!
  3. â– â– â– â–  No!!!

True, but they also offered a vortex kit for the H2D, H2S and a upgrade kit from the P1P to the P1S.

That is what I figured, especially after they boxed in their control of their printers.
